Refund Policy

We refund a square when:

• we reject it before painting for moderation or technical reasons;
• the same square was accidentally sold twice (refund or replacement square, your choice);
• the project ends before your square has been painted or represented.

Once a square has been accepted and represented or painted, refunds are generally not available — the thing you bought has happened — unless we choose to offer one.

Not choosing a colour is not a refund reason. You buy the square position, and we hold it for you. If you do not choose a colour within 90 days we may leave the square unpainted, paint it in a default colour, or release the position, as described in the Terms — but your purchase is not refunded on that basis.

Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe. How quickly the money appears is up to your bank or card issuer, and is usually a few working days.
